Hi all,

I've just joined the forum and looking for some guidance.
I've booked a flight from Paris to Melbourne as a Super Saver (K Class) ticket.
I'm now wanting to change the flight but of course there's no comparable tickets so my only option is to upgrade. I have a stack of VFF points that i can move to KrisFlyer, but not sure if they'll allow me to upgrade from K Class ticket to Business Class in order to secure a seat without paying the $8,800 they quoted.

Cheers in advance,

Lachlan

I don't believe you can upgrade. Log in to manage my booking online on Krisflyer, if it is greyed out, then, yeah, badluck.

From what I have read in the forums you may be able to upgrade your fare class by calling the call centre- you can then change to a different available fare class- for a charge. Super saver K fare class has no changes permitted, one fare class higher is called saver fare class which has changes for around $60-70 I think plus change in fare between bookings.

K fare class cannot be upgraded. I think it has to be flexi saver or higher. And then you have to
check for availability of upgrade.

for all the fees you have to pay to firstly upgrade you ticket fare class and then the change fee plus fare difference may not be worth just buying another saver ticket - unless only flexi is available
