Hi guys..

I have booked a return flight from Sydney to Rome on Singaproe in August later this year and I am looking to upgrade the first leg (Sydney to Rome) on points from Economy to Business.

From what I understand, upgrades are only available from Booking Classes Y, B and E.

The Sydney to Rome leg is booking Class E, however the Rome to Sydney leg is Booking Class N, so I am wondering how this is viewed by the airline system as it is not allowing me to do it online?

Will it be possible to just upgrade to Business on the Sydney to Rome leg on points and fly economy back home (or if there is a better/more efficient way to do it?)

Apologies if this has been asked before – I did a search and couldn’t see anything.
Thank
