Upgrades on BA for AA Platinum?

I am flying SYD - LHR on BA0016 tomorrow on World Traveller Plus. Does anyone know whether using online check-in will affect my chances of an upgrade to Club World? (I am an AA Platinum member)

If you are booked in World Traveller Plus , then prepare to enjoy a fairly comfortable WT+ flight; use OLCI and grab the best seats ( if you havent already ); the v unlikely event of an upgrade would occur regardless of check in

The thing to be aware of is that there are a lot of people higher than you in status level.

Unfortunately, in theory, they will get upgraded before you.
