I was just doing some browsing over the QF website and read you can upgrade at the check in kiosk when single traveler on a PNR?

Is this new or have i been missing something for years? Depending on flight and time of day ill request a upgrade in Business lounge to the agent after having checked in at the kiosk , however how do i do this myself at the kiosk ?

It will give you the option down the bottom from memory.

It's been there for years.

I don't tend to upgrade at the kiosk because it always seems to put "catering not assured" on your BP whereas in the lounge it's quite rare.

That's been an option pretty much since the kiosks were introduced - but only if seats are available. (And I suspect - for the kiosk upgrades - that means seats in the U fare bucket - whereas I believe the staff in the lounge may have the ability to 'convert' seats from the J, D and I buckets as well).

dont do it at the kiosk. if you try to upgrade it always gives you a slip "contact customer service for further assistance", which means then you have to line up again.. sort of defeats the purpose of self serve kiosks

if you want to upgrade with points best place to do it is at the lounge
