I'm wondering what people's success rates are from J to F as silver or gold QFF.

I'm assuming its low, with the odds of being stuck behind a bunch of WPs also trying to get into F.

As a silver I've had good luck going from Y or Y+ to J but I assume that J has a higher ratio of higher status pax.

J to F, bronze, SIN-LHR , A380, 2010.
Plane was chockers, all buckets zeroed, presumably oversold.

One out of one for me SYD-LAX last May though it was on QF107. I'm thinking the 747 not as popular as the A380. Will be going for a few this year though now that I've made Gold this may (marginally) improve my chances

My view is that it isn't that hard. Most people want to get out of Y or Premium. I think 95% of people in paid J are happy with that. What dates are your flights - day of week can be important too.

Yeah, I perhaps goofed on the day choice. We're flying into lax on Sunday. I think the return might be on a sat or sun too.

As you say, J isn't the end of the world but LH F is on the bucket list. :)
