Hi all, I am booked on a flight to Korea with Cathy Pacific (this has been done for me by my University). I have many QANTAS FF points and was wondering if there is a way to upgrade my flights using these points as Cathy and Qantas are affiliated. I have looked on the FF website but cannot find out??

Cheers

Short answer..no you can't do this. Qantas FF points can only be used to upgrade on Qantas flights on QF metal.

I don't think it is possible to upgrade QF codeshares on Cathay Pacific metal or any other metal for that matter.

You might be right there John - had a recollection of getting a points upgrade for BA flight from LHR to JFK back in 2006, but that was many flights ago....
