I've booked business saver on 107 and 108 Nov. I was unable to see the seating as seat map showed lover level but no seats. Looking later I saw I was allocated 23j both ways. This is syd-lax and return and 1B lax-jfk return.

My ? is when the time comes can I ask for upgrade from syd-lax & lax-syd in business to front part of cabin even though I don't think they are selling first class.

And if I can, is it 60,000 pts. each way.

I'm a bit confused. Thanks for your help.

I thought SYD-LAX-SYD was still (and will be then) F/J/Y+/Y layout (and tickets)?

I think LAX-JFK-LAX may be operated by an A330 by then (J/Y only).

So SYD-LAX-SYD would be business as usual (no pun intended)..i.e. can apply for an upgrade to F. :)
