Upgrade on single leg - luggage?

Hello

QF has sent me an email suggesting a points upgrade to Business Class on the final leg of a multi-leg itinerary. Does this change my luggage allowance for the entire journey? It would be a significant increase since the upgrade would be for a domestic leg after coming in from North America. If not, I probably won't bother this time.

Having been in a similar situation, you will not get extra luggage allowance for the entire journey.
