Updating food preferences and allergies

I’m trying to find how to add food preferences into both Virgin and Qantas and not having any luck. I want to update my allergies because on my J QF flight the other day they said they had no idea what was in any of the dishes so I got two pieces of bread and butter.

With Qantas, you can do this on a per booking basis by going to Manage Booking > 'Add dietary requirements'

AFAIK there is no way to set this at a profile level so it applies to all bookings - it needs to be done for each booking individually.

My wife is Gluten Intolerant and every time I add her name to a Qantas flight that I book direct it appears to remember her preference. I have not had to update this in years
