Anyone else get this email? I went to the Velocity site, but there was no mention of it there. I made a perfunctory update anyway...

I got it as well. Added my mobile number, refrained from adding my QFF membership.

I also got it. Changed something I didn't need to and then changed it back later.
Wonder if that gives me 2 chances in 12 million ?

Its only open to Gold and Silver members according to the conditions, so your odds are better than 2/12,000,000 unless they have upgraded everyone to Gold again :p

Seems odd that it didn't say "Congrats, you are in the draw..." etc

I think it is re: re-branding and making sure everyone gets new cards. I got my new status card less than a month ago, updated all details too and still got this email. I just added a fax number (work) then deleted it...

I need those points ;) No one else enter!!!!

To correct you Misha, the E-Mail is actuly one of those Nigerian Scams, so if you enter, all your velocity points will be stolen!

Better play it safe everyone and not enter. :p

What causes you to say that it is a scam?
I hit the button and it went to the velocity rewards secure https site... I logged in and updated my details and it accessed my account info..... I am interested in how you identified it as a Nigerian scam ? Perhaps you could clarify?

Perhaps one of the Velocity reps could confirm the validity of the email?

I think you missed the joke in my post. I should have made it more obvious, it is a genuine email from Virgin.

The less people that enter... The more chance of me winning!

ahhhh... That explains it..Sorry..Went into a panic... Subtle (like a house brick) works for me....

I think that Liam's entries into the competition should be considered null & void due to his ungentlemanly behaviour :mrgreen::mrgreen:
