Update of statement for Westpac Earth

Hi everyone,

I currently have a Westpac Earth Platinum card, which includes both an Amex and a MasterCard. My only gripe with the card is the non-display of pending transactions in Internet banking. We put a lot of transactions through the card, so it would be nice to know what transactions are yet to be cleared.

It seems most the banks offer a Amex/MC (or Amex/VISA) combo these days - does anybody know of one where Internet banking updates in real time even for pending transactions?? Or is this just a limitation of using the Amex 'network'?

CBA has one of the best retail banking platforms in Australia. While I don't use my Amex card frequently with CBA, my recollection is that like my MC it shows as pending very quickly.

CBA - however the earning rates and point caps aren't that flash.
