I'm flying on BA 12 SIN-LHR in economy in May. Booked online and was offered seat choice for an extra SGD$48.90.

There's a small 4 row forward economy cabin and in those rows 33-36 the seats are numbered ABC DEFG HJ (no seat K on the right-hand side of the plane). The Seat Guru plan and BA's own World Traveller seat maps show ABC DEFG HJK as you would expect. Has anyone else encountered this different configuration? (Probably not as none of you here fly long-haul economy!)

had a look at a couple of days in May and I can see K seats in rows 33-36, which day are you flying? Could be a website glitch...

Some airlines will also lock out certain seats from the map selection (not just block, actually remove). I've seen this on QF in J. I'm not sure if it's anything to do with code shares, and possibly allowing certain seats for said codeshares, but i've seen it on QF before too.

6 May. Oh, I hope not. That would mean I've put myself in a middle seat rather than my strongly preferred window seat. What do you recommend? Leave it for a while and check it again in a few days' or weeks' time? I'm not registered with Expert Flyer; didn't seem worthwhile as a once-a-year flyer, but could someone else who is, see more at this juncture? Or maybe I should simply go back and look for A seats?

Expertflyer also shows normal 'K' seats.
34A, 35A & 36A are available though.

Very many thanks, S----T---
I went straight back and swapped to an A seat. Now I can stop thinking about it.
