Unlucky Fog at HBA

It is a beautiful morning here in Hobart - shame you cannot land a plane at the moment.

QF 1011 had a couple of attempts at it...

QF1011 had departed MEL at 0701 (only a minute down), arriving HBA at 0843 (28" late). Lovely photo!

However the return flight QF1012 was substantially delayed - it pulled out at 1240 instead of 0855, arriving MEL 218 minutes late at 1348 this afternoon.

Where the power pole is - that's the southern end of the runway. So aircraft landing from the south go straight over my residence... Just bizarre that the fog was straight up and down the runway..
