I have been a United FF program member for 25 years, with lifetime points of 780K. Most of my flights are via Asia to Europe: often a few times per year; also trans-Tasman between Australia and New Zealand, occasionally internal travel in OZ. I travel economy, almost always in the lowest class which qualifies for UA FF points. I don't use upgrades, but instead issue free tickets for my partner to accompany me, or to travel separately. These are always for long trips. Currently my UA FF status is platinum but my account balance is essentially 0, having just issued a ticket for travel with UA FF points for next year. Most of my travel is with Singapore Airlines. Should I switch from UA FF to Kris?
Thanks.
Eamonn

You'll find it much harder to attain status with SQ if most of your travel is in the lowest fare buckets...

If you can get 91,375 Kris points just try an SQ Saver Suites flight out of Changi and you don't need SQ status to do it.
