Have an award booking in J for Friday morning but can't select seats, only Aisle or Window.

Never had this happen before. Am I likely to be bumped?

Will have a look at T-80 tonight, and hopefully will be sorted out.

It may be for a number of reasons, one of which may be the % of seats already selected in the cabin, or that the equipment may have changed.

I'm sure if you post the flight details, someone with EF may be able to check the loadings for you.

Sadly, no chance of equipment change.....always 737.

QF605, BNE-MEL, Fri 26th. 0600.

Currently (10.37am 22nd Feb) showing J7, C7, D7, I7, U2. Rows 1&2 blocked. Row 3 all allocated.

Wait until T80 and the blocked seats will become available to all.

Probably a status issue, where all the seats you are eligible for are already taken.

This is normal if you're a Gold passenger travelling in business on a B738 and all of row 3 has already been selected by other passengers. As rows 1 and 2 are blocked to Gold passengers and below you'll just need to wait til T-80 before the block is removed.

On EF all Row 3 are occupied, and as SG, can't select any other rows yet.

Thanks all.....I'll go in tonight for row 2......prefer it anyway.
