I have been waiting over 3mths for a refund of $7,000 from Skiddoo, after hundreds of emails, not answered I finally received one on the 1st April saying "the wait will be 8 to 10 weeks" . They cannot be contacted via the telephone so I have no idea if they are still in business. Where do I go from here ?? I contacted Cathay Pacific and they said it's up to Skiddoo to organise the refund, I will never go through another booking agent again.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve Lodged a credit card dispute...

Do they actually still trade ?? Im thinking of going to the ACCC ... such a pain
I lodged a TRAVEL AGENTS ASSOCIATION and ACCC complaints back in March. Nothing!
They seem to have non English speakers (it seems) responding to emails and they have deactivated their phone number. They also seem to have no grasp that withholding the fare and failing to respond to change requests is contrary for consumer law.

I had success with their text chat over iPhone Messages. I messaged them right when they opened (6AM EST) and received a reply from a representative an hour later. For comparison of how essential getting in early is, yesterday I got in their queue at around 9AM EST and I wasn't able to be assisted.

6-months on, still nothing from Skiddoo. I've had a credit card chargeback in progress for the last 3 months, and that has been painful enough. I will be somewhat wary of who I deal with in future. And it will always be by credit card to enable chargebacks if everything else goes bad.

How does that work? Do you have a mobile number for them?
