Unable to contact Jetstar's Customer Service Center

Hi guys,

I have a bit of problem here. I am unable to call Jetstar's Customer Service Center on both numbers, 131 538 and +61 3 9347 0091 from Australia. Is Jetstar having a problem with theirs Customer Service. Are they always like this?

Jetstar don't really want you to call.

They prefer you to book online.

Complaints should go to Today Tonight or the Herald Sun!

There's a big sale on until tonight - i'm guessing that's why their call centre is jammed. Happened to me last time I tried to book a few months ago - ended up giving up and booking with DJ instead.

Try all the Australian numbers from the Contact Us page as they are different for each country they fly too. (eg NZ 03 9347 0103, Cambodia 03 93404941 etc)

I used to do directory assistance work.. and nobody could ever get through to Jetstar regardless of sales etc. In my experience, they're always like this.

i get through to them every time,although I do have some difficulty in understanding most of their operators.But,On a recent flight back from OOL to MEL,I received a text message the night before flying back,stating flight cancelled and to contact JQ for retrieval options,I couldnt get through for 90 mins,aarrhhh.....so I drove to OOL airport,which was thankfully only a 5 min drive away.The service desk handled the whole situation in 5 mins!

I just cannot get through. Both numbers are busy all the time. I have been trying for a week. 13 numbers busy? What the hell????

I booked a flight from MEL to DPS. I used their POLi system for payment and the money has been deducted from my bank account. My booking was "on-hold", somehow it changed to "Default". When I checked my booking via online, it has nothing on it, totally blank. Now I'm trying to resolve this problem by asking to theirs Customer Service but unfortunately never get through.

I tried other numbers like New Zealand, Cambodia etc etc (the numbers starts with +61 3 93...) the keep me on hold. This is so stupid.

Just keep trying... Their call centre would probably take over 20,000 calls a day (on a normal non-sale day) and this would most likely increase to about 30,000 when these sales are on.. So just be patient, and try the other numbers..

Especially the countries with a smaller Jetstar presence like cambodia!

Also nothing to get angry about, just calm down and don't stress about it all, it will all sort out for you.. RRAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEEEEE:evil:

welcome to the world of flying with JQ. I booked a VF flight from SIN to CGK two days ago and realised I booked the return for the wrong time. I had to chnage ticket which cost $80 as two passengers but my credit card was declined or somethign so I tried to ring them and the local MEL number was busy but i got through first tiem to the 131 number. Anyway after 40 mins of waiting, i decided to just try it again as my concern was I was double paying and managed to fix it on line , so hung up

The moral of the story is when using JQ to get it all right first time and avoid trying to fix anything up.
