UA 787 MEL-LAX Cancelation Issues #3951

I use the UA app to monitor flight status of flights between the US and Australia. I've noticed over the past few weeks they have had a few cancelations on the MEL-LAX 787-9 route and both times it has been (newly delivered) aircraft #3951. I flew this route late last year on #3950 without incident and was just curious if they are having issues with the newer aircraft.

UA88 (depart Sun) returned to LAX an hour into the flight, so there is no aircraft in MEL to operate tomorrows UA89. Saturdays UA89 operated 4 hours late.
