Looking through Google Play yesterday, I spotted a "Velocity Frequent Flyer" app, which was released last month.

So now VA have two apps which do pretty much the same thing (they look very different though).

Reading some of the reviews and the developer replies, it appears VA is planning to do something different with the VFF app and I quote,

The Velocity App will become a loyalty focused App with features which help you to get the most from being part of our program. Hopefully once we have built some features it will become clearer why they are separate.

There are so many things that can be said about that developer reply.

Stumbled upon this app recently by accident. No announcement from VA at all in regards to it. Fairly limited features currently but I didn’t mind playing around with the interactive explore option
