Hi all, hoping you can answer two questions for me.

I’m trying to figure out how to get to Gold or Points Club Plus. If I make it to Gold through status credits does access to the lounge include a guest?

Regarding PCP, if I transfer points from Amex to QF do those points count towards point club?

Thanks

Qantas gold = 1 guest!

Don’t know about the PCP as don’t have anywhere near enough points to look at that!

If you have an AMEX that allows manual transfer to QF (there’s not many now), yes they count. A max of 125k per transaction.

Any other QF earning card that transfers monthly also count towards PC/PC+.

If it's a choice, go for Gold as that gets you Oneworld Sapphire (lounge access on all oneworld airlines, plus other status benefits).

PCP only gives you Qantas Club, which is much less useful.

Yeh - I'd love to but i'm about 240SC away from Gold. Not going to make it before the end of September in an affordable way. Unless you can share some magic Business class return flight that'll make up the difference for about $1400.

If you were in the US it would be quite easy, but I'm guessing not.
