Looking for advise on booking two JASA's one for Mrs Lime and self CNS to LAX return in J for Aug/Sept 2012. We would like to sample the 380 on way over via SYD and return on 747 via BNE.

Wife will have only 90K points soon I have the rest. I'm SG wife is SS.

If I try and book two JASA seats myself its nigh on impossible, but if we book separately both are available on same flights, so thinking I either transfer 100K points to her and she books her own or book one now and another one later, then select seats together, would this work?.

Hmmmm. Are you sure you are not both just looking at the same single seat? As gold you'll have better availability than her I think. If there isn't two for you then once you book it will be gone.

She can see it on her QFF I can see it on mine so you think there maybe just one seat?

For a start, have you ascertained U class availability on the flight you are looking at? (http://www.australianfrequentflyer....ility-loadings-upgrade-probability-25311.html)

Edit;
Will check out U seats can they be booked via QF site?.

Footnote: we wont actually have enough points for both in J until mid Nov, so may miss out anyway.

Even thought of fly/pay to say CNS/SYD/HNL then on AA in J to LAX/MIA/LVS/NYC etc on YUPP? booking.

U class is award / upgrade business and is where the cheapest JASA fares come from.

If it shows U1 then they're selling one seats at that level.
