Two errant lines intersect in Chile, a TR with two perspectives.

I am so glad I waited until I was on the road again and would have time to read this TR properly. One of the best. A thoroughly enjoyable read so far. Love the multi-perspective TRs too.

Well, this mutual trip has finally come to a close. These few empty glasses reveal the mayhem of the Last Night. (and they were just John's vessels - all mine were on the deck!!)

Beyond the great spy-vs-spy thread fun, this was really a great time. JohnM is the best visitor you could ever get. Unobtrusive, positive, fun, respectful. I have learnt more about wine in the last weeks than the previous decades of my life experience. He forced me to get outside the usual things I do here to see much more of my own little region of Chile. Really fantastic time! I will linger in Chile for a while before returning to Australia, but I know in advance that I will miss his presence during those days. This is to me the proof of a perfect guest.

He is off tomorrow back to Santiago, and along from there to many more travels. I wish him well.

But I may just find a last surprise to antagonize him with ;)

It is really hard, in the underworld in which I live, to have truly formidable battles recognized. It is with understanding yet loss that my achievements must always be covered over, unsensed. Here, I bested one of the most diabolical fiends that has walked the planet in recent ages, yet I can only feel glory from within the Company. These are battles raged behind the scenes. To keep all you good people safe. It is our very job to do the opposite - to keep you focused on mere issues as 737 MAX failings, and the obscene price of tomatos in your local Woolies. The knowledge of true perils like this anti-hero would create chaos, mayhem. You don't need to know how we work, nor should you worry. But we are there, cleaning the scum off our communal planet much as the garbos clean parks. We get our hands dirty so you do not need to.

A fairly unthankful job, but that is what I do :)

Actually jumbles in those photos in the fiends last post you really look contented.I think you will miss JohnM.

This has been an awesome TR. Thanks you two for all the creative work that went into it. Not only was it hilarious but there were some fantastic places that you visited and posted such fabulous photos.
Muchas gracias :)
