It's another Christmas show. I hope they shoot some of it in Barry, it always adds a dynamic though it won't be quite the same without next door neighbour Doris. I have to ask, has Gavin had work done ... surely not?

Watching Page Eight, with Bill Nighy, good twists, and to me, at least, not totally unbelievable…..
Unfortunately Michael Gambon died last year. One thing he will be remembered for is “Gambon” corner on Top Gear.

Watched, or tried to watch, new Mad Max movie, Furiosa, last night. Probably one of the biggest pieces olf rubbish I've seen for years. Very boring and Hemsworth is just terrible.

Finally finished watching "Shogun" this evening on Disney+ and thoroughly enjoyed it!! Roll on Season 2!

Hiroyuki Sanada was perfect for the role of Toranaga, but in my opinion, Anna Sawai stole the show as Mariko-sama. Fully expect to see her popping up in more television/cinema. I didn't initially recognise that I'd previously seen her - along with her Shogun co-star, Takehiro Hira (i.e. Ishida-sama) - in the limited series "Giri/Haji" on Netflix (which I can highly recommend).

Fully agree that Shogun was great !

I'm old enough to remember watching the original mini series, but still think that the re-make is better.

According to IMDB, the series will run for 3 seasons. Curious to know how the story will continue.
