TSA to allow pocket knives on flights

At last, we're getting back to some degree of normalcy. I remember when I always traveled with the Swiss Card in my wallet, was very handy until I could no longer keep the scissors or knife...

Burlingame suspects the TSA decided to allow folding knives because they are hard to spot. She said the agency's employees "have a difficult time seeing these knives on X-ray screening, which lowers their performance testing rates".

That said, fair point in the US. If you were suddenly allowed to carry a gun on a plane, everyone would do it, while in other places I expect that wouldn't be the case, so I can sort of see how they're all going to be paranoid other passengers have knives now.
 
This will be a big boost to sales of Leatherman and Swiss Army Knives.
 
I think I was about get a Swiss card just around this time but for obvious reasons didn't. Too often I have been stuck trying to open a plastic wrapped item whilst travelling...
