Arrived in CNS from BNE this afternoon to find my TSA lock gone from my checked-in bag.
I have (lesser) locks for other zippers but the primary TSA lock was gone with no damage to the ziplock.
Doesn't appear that I've lost anything from my usual tech survey/GPS/cableware - but no explanatory note etc.

I'll enquire with QF baggage, but has anyone had similar Dom experience?

Could you just have forgotten to lock it? Stranger things have happened...

Yes we had a TSA lock go missing on a QF flight SYD-BNE-though the bag went via PER.Nothing missing.

I had a TSA lock go missing SYD-HKG.
Closer inspection showed the lock probably caught on something as the zipper was ripped out of the case lining and deemed unrepairable.
Thankfully work's travel insurance coughed up a large percentage of the replacement bag cost (I was staying at the Island Shangri-La in HKG, and bought a bag downstairs in Pacific Place).

Also had a non-tsa lock damaged OOL-SYD, but no damage to the bag.
