I'm trying to salvage what I can of an upcoming Euro-trip... nothing is really going my way, but the more money I spend the deeper I screw myself it seems.
My latest dilemma is getting from a little podunk airport in central France to Orly, Paris in time for a 12pm noon connection. Original plan was to take the 5am train to the city then somehow get to Orly going back in the direction I came from. Having traveled on SNCF before I know I will really push my luck with this option.
So the only other option is to fly the morning of the connection into the same airport... but the typically $100US one way fare has now bumped up to a whopping $350US... which is a hundred bux more than what I paid to fly from New York City to Madrid (via Amsterdam and Paris) so go figure.
Does anyone have 10k Flying Blue points they have no immediate plans for or that are about to expire? Don't put them to waste, lets trade for something... I don't have much to offer other than a limited number of Virgin America miles, but enough to get you one way from West Coast to East Coast in the US. (reasonably speaking) I'd be happy to direct deposit you the Air France tax/fuel surcharge as I still have my Aussie bank account active.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,

PS. I completely forgot, I got some Virgin Blue points collecting dust in my Velocity account... 8k I think. Could be more useful for someone? (i hope)
