Oversized goods can be sighted etc at Melbourne International Airport Client services desk is located on the Ground Floor, on the right hand side near the escalator.

Allow for plenty of time as the actual refund takes place after passport control. Even with a long queue of passengers waiting for their refunds, the staff manning the counters always seem to be taking their time and often seen chatting with each other.

Thanks for the input guys - I can report 100% success - my Chinese friends are happy little Vegemites with $440 back in their pockets from TRS.

If I get to Airport 4 hrs before flight time....checkin 5 minutes.....then Security Fast pass....then Customs to TRS Melb....how long before flight leaves does boarding commence?
Trying to ensure enough time for TRS on 2pm flight.

Hi all, just on the TRS in MEL. I am looking to claim it back on some ski's and bindings when I fly out on Wednesday afternoon. Did I read somewhere now that you can claim stuff without having to present the article? I.e I can just check it in and then go through to the TRS booth past passport control and put my claim in? Or do I have to go downstairs in MEL and get them sighted first?
