I booked flights yesterday MEL- HBA and CHC-MEL. They are on the one itinerary (as I wanted to max my Amex $450 voucher😅) but are for seperate trips. I’m trying to put them into TripIt and I have two trips set up (hobart and NZ). Does anyone know if I can split these within TripIt so each flight is within the correct ‘trip’? I’m guessing not as they are on the one itinerary but worth asking

Could you start a new trip and then move some of them to the new trip. I know I've done something like that before but I can't do it now because I don't have any trips in there :(

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

At the top right of the app there are various move, edit, delete options.
If you create a new trip then click on the sector you want to move you should be able to

Thanks, I’ve tried that but it keeps moving the whole itinerary, rather than just the individual sector.

Are you importing the itinerary into TripIt and letting it set it up? If so, just delete it and put it in manually, which is what I do when combining separate tickets etc on the one trip.

How far apart are the flights? If nothing in between you can just leave as is? Maybe call it “West Island/South Island” 😀
