Here are the pics from my return from the UK in early January. After the experience of QF J (trip report here) I was back to slumming it in BA Y via SIN.

The full text is on my site - ‘Trip Report’ – LHR-SYD in Y and drunk-upped to Club | g.r.

In conclusion:
  • Snow caused a 3 hour delay on stand while we waited for deicing. Bleurgh. Prepaid exit row well worth the $$.
  • LHR-SIN was great. Exit row = sleep for me. OK food, slept for 4/5 hours even with what seemed like a small primary school class of kids in the surrounding rows.
  • Delay was cut to 1 hour in SIN thanks to planned change onto different BA flight
  • Annoying drunk person next to me on SIN-SYD caused much consternation, including cabin crew intervention and threats from the Captain. After two hours I got moved to the only seat free in Club. THANKYOU BA!

Nice piccies and report once again!

Geez it takes 1 hr to deice the plane (that's after 1hr+ to get the deicer). I hope they did something to keep you all entertained...or sane.

That WT dinner looks like something you could make by walking into a convenience store/express supermarket with a lunch tray.
