RWY 34L approach is currently impeded by the Toll rescue chopper conducting a SAR close to the surface, and Polair Bell 412 is doing similar further up the coast near Coogee. Both appear to be 100-150ft above the water. In case your wondering, SAR operations are pretty much at the top of the priority list when it comes to airspace use.
