Can anyone update me with information about bulkhead seats on Singapore Airlines A380?
I'm travelling from Australia to the UK with a very active 3 year old and would like to request a bulkhead window seat and the adjacent middle seat.
Part of the flight will be at night and I'm wanting to check that these seats have moveable armrests so that we can try and have a semi comfortable sleep.
I've travelled on an A380 before and had a bulkead seat in the middle aisle and both of the middle seats had moveable armrests on one side.
I've checked on a seating plan website and they say that all bulkhead seats have armrests which can't be moved. Can anyone update me?
Also has anyone travelled on the upper deck with young kids?

My only flight (so far) on SQ's 380 was on the UD.... with a total load of only 190 ( .. the crew were amazed too) we had room to spread out...

I ended up napping on an empty centre 4 section so can confirm that the normal centre seats have movable armrests... According to seatguru the ONLY Y bulkhead seats - row 31 - have immovable armrests....

Note that the UD is 2-4-2.. so your "Plan A" is not going to work there....and there are no Y bulkhead seats up there either!!

Row 80 DEFG has the same armrest problem apparently.. but "exit row" levels of legroom...

While the seat pitch is stated to be 32" I thought it felt a bit better.... I'd just recommend grabbing either a seat pair or two seats in a centre section on the UD.. it really is nicer up there!

I would be surprised that any bulkhead seats have movable armrests, as the tray table and tv unit have to be stored in the armrests, there being no seat in front.

Yep - get your point about the tray table and the tv unit. However, on the A380 the tv is in the bulkhead and the tray table for the middle seat is in the immoveable arm rest of the aisle seat. For the window seat it's in the immoveable arm rest on the window side which I presumed may have made the shared arm rest between the middle and the window seat moveable?
