My go-to sites are TripAdvisor.com and Agoda.com for hotel reviews and prices, BestFlights.com.au for local deals of the day/week, GCmap.com for flight maps and distances and FlyerTalk.com for international happenings, specials etc. There are many others I use but these are a good start.

Then there's the seat availability websites, airline review sites, frequent flyer issues, (etc).
There will be no one website that doesn't have something missing. As mentioned above, TripAdvisor is a good resource for itinerary planning.
