Travel to CBR - DH4 or 73x?

I love the Dash-8s when the flight is not too long. In my opinion the leg room is quite OK and may even be more generous than a 737.

I'm rather fond of the muffins you get on QFlink.
And loaded with calories. :( Almost all snacks served on QantasLink and Qantas mainline are loaded with calories and I try to avoid them these days.

I always go for the dash, even the people who choose them seem more friendly

Can get a jet anywhere, why not sample the bio-diversity of air craft and get a good view as well.

My own preference is Dash 8 SYD -CBR and jet CBR - SYD.
I agree with the views expressed here that the dash 8 can have a more convivial atmosphere, the FA's are generally younger and the service a little better, That said the jet flight time can be as short as 20 minutes, and it is entertaining to watch the 737 crew attempt to serve a full cabin drinks and snacks in the few minutes between takeoff and landing.
Bottom line - it is such a short from SYD it doesn't really matter.

I believe the dash-8 is a rite of passage of all frequent flyers. :)

Having done multiple trips to BKH, DBB, MIL and Wagga Wagga I thave done my fair dash of the dash.

I have gone with the Jet instead as it is overnight and I will have an overnight bag.

The Dash 8 bar service is 7 days a week as opposed to 5 days on the mainline services. Then again, that may not apply on the "Cityflyer" Dash 8's (anyone know?)

Sounds sensible.
