Travel Sim / Disposable Phone for Central America

Anyone know of a comapny offering cheap SIMS or cheapo phones for use whilst travelling central america (Guatemala, Belize, Mexico)?

I dont want to take my regular mobile for theft reasons, and doubt Optus has decent roaming partners in that part of the world. But would be nice to have it for security.
