Currently have an ANZ Frequent Flyer Black and thinking about cancelling before the renewal period. However, I have a booking made through this card for an upcoming trip and card carries the complimentary insurance for overseas travel.

Wondering if I cancelled the card; will it also void my travel insurance that was included at the time of purchase?

Thank you.

I'd suggest having a very thorough read.of the PDS, I know that for AMEX your insurance is void on cancellation of the card. I'm not sure if it would be the same with your ANZ card, but I suspect it will be.

ok, sorted and for others in the same boat. Range Allianz which is ANZ's travel insurer. Your travel insurance will be covered even if you cancel your card prior to travel provided the travel is booked with the card.

- If you have booked with the Black CC and cancelled it before your international travel, these are the three things recommended to have with you:

1. Screenshot of payment made with your ANZ Black CC
2. First 6 digits and last 4 digits of your card
3. Letter of eligibility (go to www.checkyourcover.com.au/anz)

NOTE: You MUST also meet ANZ's travel insurance eligibility and criteria regardless of the above; for that read the pdf but it will also get printed with your letter of eligibility above!

I now have all these downloaded to my email for the future travel date.

HTH's someone in the future. My thoughts; 2c worth as a disclaimer ;)
