travel from houston (IAH) airport to Galveston port

I've tried to find rental cars for a one way trip to catch a cruise, without success-appreciate any suggestions

Can you change your airport-using Driveaway there are no quotes for Houston but plenty of availability for DFW one way to Galveston.

Though probably dearer than a rental.

It's such a short distance there must be public transportation (try Googling, that's what the rest of us do).
