What's the best travel blog site to use when travelling? I'm going to be away for a while and thought it's an easy way to let family and friends know what's happening. Ideally it'll be free with unlimited storage for photos, doesn't "expire", minimal ads (i doubt i can get one without any unnecessary clutter for free, but happy for you to prove me wrong), easy to use, fast upload ... anything else that's important? Suggest away - I'm all ears!

I've used blogger in the past, which worked very well. The interface for uploading photos, or linking photos from flickr.com is quite easy. From a layout point of view, blogger pages can become quite long, as the text window is only half the width of the page.

I was recommended to try Wordpress, and it allows much bigger photos to be displayed than blogger, but in the end I decided to stick with what I knew.
