Our family of four and my inlaws are travelling together to the US in September/October. We booked Qantas Saver fares so we could apply for an upgrade using my Father-In-Law's points. What he didn't tell us, was that the points he had were Amex (Gold Business) points and when he went to transfer them to his QFF (after already having booked the flights) he discovered he can no longer transfer them to Qantas. He had done this previously so hadn't thought to check and obviously missed the memo when this affiliation ceased. Does anyone know of any sneaky way we can divert them through one of the affiliated carriers and then to Qantas? We are all very disappointed and trying to find a fix :(
