It tends to be no more generous than 5% these days, but that's still more points for free by holding out, ha.

Just got another email from AMEX for 20% Velocity transfers (not sure if Centurion exclusive?)

20% is for Ascent Premium and 15% is for others (Ascent, Gateway, Business Ascent). A nice way to get a few extra miles into KrisFlyer via Velocity, versus the direct 3:1 conversion.

agreed.. just wish VFF to KF had a bonus once in a while

Mine is 15%

On the Velocity website Amex offer reads 'up to 20% bonus', so it's card type specific. In the email I received from Amex directly this morning, the offer reads 20% and I have Plat Charge card.

20% on Amex Plat Charge card here too. Just did a transfer and the 20% extra came through immediately.
