Given that the headline offer would have been for 60k VFF bonus points, with the mention of 120k (old) MyCard reward points only in the T&C detail, that would seem to bind them to achieving the 60k VFF points regardless of changes.
What I was alluding to was there was probably a concurrent MyCard offer for people who did not sign up down the VFF pathway, i.e. a pure bank program points offer. But these are generally pitched at lower equivalent levels, i.e. less than 120k (old) MyCard reward points. Such that it might have been something like 60k VFF / 90k (old) MyCard. Although I suspect it is all moot, such that if you signed up for the VFF deal, the VFF deal is the one available to you, i.e. could not now change across deals even were that your desire (other than at MyCard manually exercised discretion, if they would).
For reference, their current "choose your offer" is for:
Option 1 (VFF): 60,000 VFF now + 40,000 VFF later, which the T&Cs clarify to be done via 180,000 MyCard (new) now + 120,000 MyCard (new) later (total 300,000 MyCard new)
Option 2 (bank rewards): 120,000 MyCard (new) now + 30,000 MyCard (new) later (total 150,000 MyCard new)
