Is it possible to transfer my wife's QF points into my QF account? My wife has 138470 points currently.
I know this sounds mercenary but my wife does not have very long to live and unfortunately the trip we were saving points for will probably not take place.
A friend of mine suggested that I get my wife's points transferred because after she passes on Qantas will cancel her points.
There are a number of things we must do to get the house in order and this is one. I hope you understand, it is a difficult time for me.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Sorry to hear your wife is not well.

You can transfer points - in blocks of up to 100,000 up to 4 times per year. I have recently done the same thing with my father-in-law.

Dear lastrow, as this very sad time it is quite right that you finalise these matters. As bismarck has noted you can transfer them to yourself.

Rest assured that no one here thinks you are mercenary and most of us have similar plans for when the worst happens.

It is sad that the t&cs require such pre-emptive actions but yes, time is right.

Maybe you can use them to revisit a special place that you and your wife enjoyed together when the time is right for you.

So sorry to hear of your circumstances Lastrow. Like others here I certainly don't think it's mercenery as I'm sure she wouldn't want her points cancelled. I like Pushka's idea of using the points to visit a place that is special to both of you.

I don't know why airlines don't give their frequent flyer members the option to nominate a beneficiary who would receive their points in the event of their passing. That would really be fairer.

So sorry for your situation lastrow :(

See the following link for information on family transfers: Frequent Flyer - Qantas Points and Partners - Using Qantas Points - Family Transfers

You will need to do two transfers, as 100000 is the maximum that can be transferred in one go.

Can do one transaction right after the other?

So in the same day 100,000 in the first transfer then 38,470 in the second one?

Thank you to all who have assisted me. I like the idea of Pushka's, over the years we have been to many places both by sea and by air. I do know of a couple of places for when I am ready.

I will follow up on the information supplied by opusman - thanks.

I will let you know how I go.
