Transfer points "into" QBR?

Our ABN is just about to expire and we have 2000 FF points left in our Qantas Business Rewards program account. I need 3000pts to be able to transfer them out. Can I transfer some points into the account to make it up to 3000+ and then transfer them out?

I don’t believe so.

Is there anything there to suggest your QBR account will freeze/suspend if the ABN expires?

Anyway, can you use the residual points on a points+pay booking?

I closed my business and cancelled the ABN, but still in QF ffp. Did clean out all QF points before closure. But now have a very small balance from some random survey.

QF voucher or a charitable donation a possibility.

Burning 3000 points a little hard. Looks like charity start at 3200 points
Anything better than expiry (--> QF staff bonus, from QF points wastage, for those in the good office seats)

If the QBR account remains open, then it’s less of an issue. You can probably then still earn bonus points on flights, hotels and wine!

Well, until that ABN gets recycled and the owner registers for QBR - I suspect that’s probably highly unlikely?

I wouldn’t worry about it. I don’t think they cross check ABN once it’s in there.
