Transfer bonus from Amex to Qatar Privilege Club

do we think it makes it more attractive that transferring to Qatar allows access to BA reward setas
Not really. Carrier charges on BA flights are sky high. I guess the silver lining is that availability tends to be better, especially transatlantic, because no one wants to pay those crazy prices for a reward flight.

Not the crazy qf taxes though I booked. J Ist doh and f to syd and the taxes were $a1250 each but alas now no QR at all with QF asiamiles were the same taxes too

Transferred 450 000 Amex points to Qatar and managed to book 2 x first class tickets Sydney to Sharjah with a 6 hour layover in Doha. I purposely chose a longer layover to spend more time in the Al Safwa lounge

i was hoping to use the 20% bonus but only saw after my 1st transfer that the bonus will only hit my account 45 days after the promo ends.

Strangely, it was easier to find first class seats over business class

Love, love that lounge!

Has anyone figured any tricks to just search for saver awards ? American airlines shows me premium seat - including the 2x ones. Cant seem to find a way to refine it. Any tips ?
I can find a few first !!!! - but no J :(

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

I just had another look at the fine print. The bonus Avios will come through up to 45 days after the end of the bonus transfer period. The bonus transfer period ended on August 18, so 45 days after that is October 2.

I must admit that I'd thought it said that the points will come through 45 days after the actual date of the transfer itself, but it looks like I was wrong about that.

I just noticed that the transfer bonus came through for me today.
