TPE - CX or CI lounge

Would any AFFers have recently (since November 2015 after the new CX lounge reopening) used the CX lounge and/or the China Airlines Dynasty lounge (T1) in Taipei Toayuan Airport to give me guidance as to the better lounge to spend time in, dine and the all important champagne. I know the CX lounge has Piper Heidsieck behind the bar in BKK and only available if asked for. Is the same or some other champagne available in TPE. Does the Dynasty lounge (looks very swish on the net) have champagne We're flying MH J so will have the option of both but not really wanting to lounge crawl. My partner is not fussed about Tim Sum or noodles but I am.

Haven't been to CX since the refurb but It looks good, I would probably go to CI for food then CX for drinks and lounging (nothing new in their Spartan noodle offerings from the press release). You may be disappointed looking for fine bubbles though as it's just not the market for it.

Thank you yohy?! for taking the trouble to respond. The CX refurb does look good but I thought the CI lounge looks amazingly "different" but pictures often glamourises. Hope that MH isn't dry for this sector if I have to miss out on the finer bubbles in the lounge(s).

The China Airlines lounge in TPE is surprisingly nice. I was there ~12 months ago when the CX lounge was closed for refurbishments.

MH flights <3 hours long are dry.

I was there last Nov when the CX lounge was a few days away from opening. I had access to the CI F lounge and find it surprisingly good. I don't drink alcohol so can't comment of the selection the food menu was quite extensive (sorry didn't take photos but remember there were quite a number of choices) and tasty (had Taiwanese braised beef noodle soup). Certain areas are have a fair amount of mood lighting but not so dark you can't read. The service was prompt and polite as one expects in an F lounge. I

Very good food selection. What surprised me most was the western food choices. Not sure about alcohol but the basic offerings were more than adequate for me.

From memory lounge is a little dark which may give it an intimate feel.

Think I may have mentioned on AFF at the time but not sure which thread.

MH TPE - KUL J has alcohol. It just they normally don't give you the alcoholic menu for some reason. But if you ask, certainly available.
