Hi,

Got a bit of a "too early or too late" dilemma, here...

I'm looking at booking a London to KL flight, MH1, that is scheduled to arrive in KL at 5.35pm.
I'm already booked on a Singapore to Sydney flight QF6 that departs Sin at 10.25pm the same day. Is 4 hours and 50 minutes enough to get off at KL, and hop on a plane to Sin in time to pick up my Sin / Sydney flight?
I think for one, I'd better avoid LCCT, so that puts Air Asia out of the question. It leaves leaves Jetstar Asia (I THINK they fly from KLIA??) or Malaysia Airlines I guess. Seem to be plenty of flights.
Options seem to be:
Jetstar 682, 6.45pm / 7.45pm. Cutting it a bit fine in KL maybe? Plenty of time at Singapore.
Jetstar 670, 7.45pm / 8.55pm. Cutting it a bit fine in Sin, but ample time at KL. Malaysia MH607, 7.25pm / 8.25pm. Maybe the best option? Nearly 2 hours at KL and 2 at Sin.
Malaysia MH9143, 8.30pm / 9.25pm. Probably too late.
The other option is I get into KL a day earlier and stay there overnight.

Thoughts, anyone?

Thanks

Stay overnight, no question imo.

3K fly from KLIA but you'd have to collect bags then check-in again so MH is really your only feasible choice.

If you absolutely must do a same day transfer from KUL to SIN, I would be using MH607 as it spreads the time fairly evenly between KUL and SIN, is on the same carrier, which is good if the flight into KUL is delayed (won't necessarily help you get onto QF6) and they can probably check your bag all the way through. All on oneworld too, which could be advantageous.

However I would recommend as per the OP that you stay overnight in either Kuala Lumpur or Singapore - doesn't matter which really, your preference. This also helps to break up the trip and is a "contingency" in case of delays etc.
