Damn. I know this protrusion exists on the Delta Syd-LAX in bulkhead exit row 44. Because i usually choose that seat when forced to economy as i use it as a foot rest

Never once been asked to remove feet. Fingers crossed as am back over the pacific next week and booked to late for affordable J tickets.
