I'm trying to recollect which airports we stopped over at, on a Qantas flight from London to Sydney in November 1973. I think it was in a 707 but might be wrong. Were they using 747s in those days? I remember the first stop (or 2nd?) was definitely Tehran.

Anyone help me with this, please? If not, suggestions on how to go about searching this info would be much appreciated. Need it for my 'life story' for the kids.

I can find a 1974 schedule which gives two possibilities - both on a B707. Either London- Athens - Tehran- Delhi - Bangkok- Sydney or London - Damascus Tehran - Delhi - Bangkok - Sydney.
