Hi there
I did have a quick look but couldn't find the answer.
I have two domestic flights with Air Pacific / Sun Pacific (NAN-SUV and SUV-NAN).
Just wondering how long it takes for these flights to make it to my QFF account? My flight to NAN posted the next day. I hope it is reasonably fast because I will be hitting Gold (if they post) before I fly to HKG - which would help my upgrade request immensely.
Any ideas or previous experience? I flew on Wednesday and nothing yet (Saturday).
Cheers
Taez
PS. If I don't respond, it is because I am out of internet range till the 21st.

I did those flights back in 06 and from my memory never got the points/SC's for those flights.

SC's had no meaning to me back then anyway because I only flew 2 or 3 times a year.

Air Pac take at best 10days for sc and points to post. Best to put in a missing points claim

I was coming up marginally short of keeping WP but had forward bookings coming up within weeks of the deadline. I wrote to QF and explained my situation and they immediately renewed my WP - try emailing them in advance and you will probably find a positive response. Will save all that hassle with filing missing points claims.

Retaining is easier than getting WP.

I was doing trip where I could use a F lounge but I was going to get WP between SIN and SYD, I wanted to use the F lounge features i could not because I was only SG.

Is it correct that Air Pacific don't have a discount economy, and all economy earn SC's at full economy? I'm trying to decide whether to ticket through QF and get lounge access or through FJ for SCs.

AFAIK, only 'Y' will earn at full SC's, and all other eligible economy codes will earn SC's at the discount economy rate.

For travel on oneworld Alliance airlines or Air Pacific, Economy is class Y.

What routing are you trying?

SYD-Nadi-SYD in March. We usually have discount economy QF tickets earning 20 SCs each way, but thought this time I might forgo lounge access for extra SCs. The airline earning table for FJ just has all international economy classes (BGHKLMNOQSTVWY) as economy where other airlines separate the discount economy classes.

Have you thought about J at $750 each way, using the famous NAN special run that nets 360 SC?

For airline parters, the Discount Economy tag in the airline earning table is a reference to the point earning being less than one point per mile, it says nothing about status credit earning. Status Credit earning is in the status credit earning table I referred to earlier.
