Been using this site for a while now and have gained heaps from the wisdom of so many.

So I thought I would pay my hard earned and join up. 1 year $50 no problem and ... then you try to pay :(

The problem is it looks like you can only use paypal - go to the page and no - you can use a credit card and voila? no - get sent after entering all the details for the cc - back to a paypal page.

What am I doing wrong?

We use Paypal to process all subscription payments. The major benefit of this is that your banking details remain secure with Paypal, a major and well-trusted online brand. Paypal also manages the manual renewal process.

So, if you choose "credit card" option in Paypal, the payment is still made via Paypal. I think the difference is that instead of debiting your Paypal account, your credit card account is debited directly by Paypal.

I realise there are some of you who prefer not to enter credit card details online or prefer not to use Paypal. We therefore offer a manual option where you can direct deposit the payment into our account and your membership will be manually upgraded. If this is of interest to you, please PM me for details.

Ooh that's something I'll try in future. Not using paypal anymore after my card got defrauded on paypal. Though to their credit, they were reasonably efficient in sorting it out.
