Time required from Sydney Domestic QF QP/Business Lounge to Virgin Terminal

Hi,
Quick question:
How long does it take to get from the Sydney QF domestic lounge to the Virgin Blue Terminal (Sydney obviously)? (accompanying Mrs KitKat - she is WP and flying QF domestic but I am flying DJ - work paying - hoping she could guest me into business/QP lounge while I waited for my DJ flight)

Virgin Blue leaves from Terminal 2 in Sydney, where there is a QP but no business lounge. So if you use the QP its maybe 5 mins to the Virgin gates.

If Mrs KitKat leaves from Terminal 3 then I would leave at least 20 mins to get to T2 from the T3 QP/Bus Lounge. You will have to clear security when you enter T2 and the queues are unpredicatable at best. It all depends whether you leave from different terminals which I guess is the case here.

It's a 5 minute walk to the underground travelators from the J/L. Allow another 3-4 minutes to reach T2 security and another 6-7 minutes get through. Then another 5 minutes to get to your gate.

The finagle is the T2 security.
